Guitarist Jeff Swanson currently lives in Chicago, IL. He has quickly made his unique voice and open mind a valued part of the city’s diverse music scene. A strong player in many disciplines, he has been featured at the Iowa City Jazz Festival, Chicago Jazz Festival, Hyde Park Jazz Festival, Chicago Gospel Festival as well as local and national venues (The Green Mill, Constellation, Jazz Showcase, City Winery, The Hideout, Dazzle, Merriman’s Playhouse).
As a composer he writes and performs music with New York/Chicago based trio Whirlpool. FeaturingCaroline Davis and Charles Rumback, the group's first record This World and One More was released onEars&Eyes Records in 2013. In 2015 the group released Dancing on the Inside which featured Ron Miles on cornet. Active more locally Jeff leads his own quartet as the Jeff Swanson Group. His original music is also paired along side Artie Black's in the co-led Living Bridge as well as Dustin Laurenzi's Natural Language.  
His adaptability and creativity as a sideman has lead him to perform and record with many of the city and nation’s best including Juan Pastor’s Chinchano, Quentin Coaxum Quintet, Doug Rosenberg’s Better Than TV, Marquis Hill, Matt Ulery, Greg Ward, Nick Mazzarella, Tomeka Reid and Christopher McBride.

Rich Moore

Rich Moore is an active and in demand freelance saxophone player and educator.
As a performer, Rich has been on stage and recorded with many of Chicago’s finest musicians in notable venues.  Versatility and adaptability have given him the tools necessary to make music in a variety of genres.  While his main focus is Jazz, his passion branches into Classical, Latin, Funk, Rock, Pop, Caribbean and R&B.
As an educator, Rich has given guidance to many successful young musicians.  His students have earned top rankings at state high school competitions and festivals, won top chairs in college ensembles and have achieved success as professionals.  Rich holds a Bachelor of Music degree (Saxophone Performance, with an emphasis in Jazz Studies) and a Master of Music degree (Clarinet Performance) from Northern Illinois University. 

Max Beckman

Max Beckman is one of the most on demand bass players in the Chicago Area due to his versatillity on both Upright and Electric Bass. he holds a Bachellors of music from Depaul University in Chicago.
